Patrick Chong
Counsellor (Diploma of Counselling; Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)Patrick is a compassionate and approachable Counsellor, (with qualifications in Psychology), who is dedicated to helping you to live your best life. Patrick is a self described 'people person,' who provides caring, kind and supportive counselling services to our patients. Patrick draws on his own lived experiences and personal integrity to support others on their path to wellbeing. Patrick can assist with: conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), etc. other developmental delays or learning disabilities motivational or decision making issues chronic illnesses or significant pain emotional regulation issues problematic, aggressive or anti-social behaviours are victims of trauma, domestic violence, abuse or neglect anxiety or depression helping people to understand their diagnoses or disabilities developmental, physical, sensory, cognitive or behavioural problems and disabilities learning (remembering, planning, problem solving) play and social skills sensory, behavioural and emotional regulation. Patrick can support you to maximise and enhance quality of life for adults, children and the whole family through compassionate counselling and looks forward to working with you and your family.

Eimear Doherty
Occupational Therapist Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy)As an Occupational Therapist, Eimear can provide Functional Capacity Assessments and many other therapeutic interventions to assist people with activities of daily living. Eimear works with patients of all ages. Eimear can assist you with: attention and concentration fine motor skills (eg: grasping & handwriting) gross motor skills (balance, climbing, running, etc) eating and drinking (limited food choices, fear of food) learning (remembering, planning, problem solving) self care (dressing, toileting, brushing teeth, etc) play and social skills sensory, behavioural and emotional regulation and visual awareness and communication. Eimear provides exceptional care for our patients and supports them to experience increased overall wellness and more meaningful, enjoyable lives.

Customer Service OfficerBec is one of our Customer Service Officers, who assists with general customer service and enquiries, bookings, invoicing, payments, HICAPS claims, human resource support and marketing. Manvir Kaur
Physiotherapist (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)Manvir is a Physiotherapist, with experience across the life span. Manvir has clinical experience in the management of various neurological congenital and degenerative conditions and disabilities across the life span. Manvir's experience includes treating patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), general gross motor delays, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Chromosomal Abnormalities and patients recovering from a Stroke. Manvir can provide Assistive technology prescription (transfer/mobility aids, specialised walkers, AFOs/orthotics); 24-hour postural management / seating prescription; running retraining; gait and mobility analysis, functional capacity assessments, transfer plans, exercise programs, and overall neurological rehabilitation / disability management.

Isabel (Izzi) Italiano
Therapy Assistant Currently Studying: Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy)Izzi is a Therapy Assistant, who is currently studying Occupational Therapy. As a Therapy Assistant across all of Body Agility's therapy disciplines, Izzi provides exceptional care for our patients and supports them to experience increased overall wellness and more meaningful, enjoyable lives.

Rhys McCarty
Provisional Psychologist Master of Professional Psychology; Bachelor of Psychological Science with HonoursRhys is one of our Provisional Psychologists, who is based in Tweed Heads, New South Wales. Rhys has prior experience working as a Rehabilitation Consultant, supporting people with injuries to recover and return to work, from a mental health perspective. Rhys works with families and patients of all ages, with in person services offered around the Tweed Heads area, or via Telehealth Australia wide. Rhys has a special interest in mindfulness-based behaviour change, somatic and polyvagal evidence-based therapies to assist patients with positive mental health. Rhys provides exceptional care for our patients - helping them to experience increased overall wellness and more meaningful, enjoyable lives.

Hanna Merilainen
Registered Psychologist Psychology Honours; Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology; Trauma Informed Therapy & PracticeHanna is a Registered Psychologist based in Byron Bay, New South Wales. Hanna has previous experience in Forensic Mental Health Counselling; in dual-diagnosis and Motivational Interviewing; ICE training for welfare workers; delivery of trauma informed yoga and harm minimisation strategies. Hanna cares about working with people to increase choice and control (in life and in treatment options) and improving community engagement in a recovery-orientated way. Hanna is available for telehealth appointments Australia-wide (digital video consultations) for patients of all ages. Hanna is also available for in person appointments (with adults only) in and around the Byron Bay area. Hanna provides exceptional care for our patients - helping them to experience increased overall wellness and more meaningful, enjoyable lives through improved mental health.

Hannah Overheu
Senior Occupational TherapistHannah is an Occupational Therapist, with a special interest in paediatric, child and adolescent mental health, Aboriginal health and disability management. Hannah has extensive clinical experience in the management of complex early interventions and treatment of children with developmental delay or disabilities that impact function, participation and / or parent-child relationships. Hannah has experience supporting children and families with ASD, FASD, GDD and neurodevelopmental conditions aged 0 - 18 years old. Hannah has extensive clinical experience managing an extensive array of neurodevelopmental conditions and mental health concerns.

Asel Jayatilake
Business Services ManagerAsel is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational, administrative, and financial functions of the organisation. This includes managing internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Asel plays a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that the organisation remains financially sustainable. He provides leadership to department heads, streamlining workflows, implementing performance improvement measures, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development. Asel also oversees compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring that all operations align with the organisation’s objectives and standards. With a hands-on approach to management, Asel supports executive decision-making by providing data-driven insights and operational analysis. He is instrumental in coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and driving organisational change to support growth and innovation.

Gabrielle Brindley
Occupational TherapistGabrielle is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist who provides a wide range of therapeutic services tailored to support individuals in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life. With a strong clinical foundation and a client-centred approach, Gabrielle delivers standard occupational therapy interventions that address physical, cognitive, emotional, and sensory challenges across all age groups. She is highly skilled in conducting Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), helping to evaluate an individual's ability to carry out daily living tasks and providing valuable recommendations for support needs, assistive equipment, and home or workplace modifications. Her detailed reporting ensures that clients receive appropriate services, funding, and accommodations—particularly within the context of the NDIS. Gabrielle also specialises in play-based therapy, using structured and creative play to help children develop motor skills, sensory integration, emotional regulation, and social interaction. Through therapeutic play, she supports young clients in overcoming developmental delays and achieving critical milestones. Hafiza Aqsa Shabbir
PhysiotherapistHafiza is a qualified physiotherapist who delivers comprehensive and patient-centred care across a range of therapy services. She is skilled in providing standard physiotherapy treatments tailored to individual needs, aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function. In addition to conventional physiotherapy, Hafiza is experienced in delivering hydrotherapy sessions, using water-based exercises to support rehabilitation, enhance muscle strength, and promote overall well-being. She also offers other therapeutic services as required, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised treatment plans. Body Agility is a nationally registered provider of high-quality physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, counselling, exercise physiology, hydrotherapy, and therapy assistance.
